20 Signs That You Are The Best Mother In The World For Your Children

Read this list and start breathing easier!

Being a good mother has been the greatest pressure that women have had since the beginning of time. In the age of social media where the world invades you with photos full of happy children doing all kinds of activities and with mothers that seem to be taken from the cover of a magazine, knowing if you are doing your job well is sometimes difficult .

As a mother of two little girls (10 and 6 years old) I always wonder if I am giving them my best, if I am meeting their needs, if I am giving them the right education, and I could keep adding questions to this list for a while. But no wonder, I have two angels under my care and their happiness is the most important thing in my life.

That is why I decided to make this list of the things that are truly important in the happiness of our little ones, and if we are doing them, we can begin to breathe easier.

  1. Your children laugh most of the time.

  2. You taught them the importance of sharing, as much as it may have cost them, you consider it important for them to know that the more they give, the more they will have.

  3. Telling them NO when it’s due is part of your strategy when raising them; although sometimes not giving them pleasure and having to see them cry, it hurts you more than it hurts them.

  4. You teach them that there are 4 magic words in the world that, spoken with intention, can open any door in life. Sorry, thank you and please, they are part of your daily vocabulary.

  5. Their physical well-being comes before yours. You’re the last to go to bed, the last to get ready for going out, and the last to help yourself to food.

  6. When something hurts, or hurt, nothing is better than mom’s skirt or shoulder.

  7. You rescue them from the ghosts, from the goblins that hide under the bed, from the darkness, from those dreams that wake them up crying, from the thunder and the noise of the wind.

  8. Hugging them is your favorite sport, and cutting the hug is more difficult than getting out of bed on your day off.

  9. No matter how tired you are or how long your day has been, you always find that extra reserve to spend time with them.

  10. You love them so much that you don’t care that they are no longer small, you still kiss them in front of all their friends.

  11. They know that you are, and always will be, their best friend, but that above all, you are their mother, and you are in this world to teach them everything you know about life.

  12. Your husband often refers to you as the “woman orchestra” and does not explain how you can do everything you do, and when it seems that you can no longer, one of your children cries and you are again at the foot of the cannon.

  13. You pass up the mistakes that are not important and highlight the ones that are.

  14. You understand that sometimes they don’t like what you tell them and that they can get so mad at you that they even tell you that they don’t love you anymore. You know that in time (which can sometimes be as little as a few seconds) they will understand why you did what you did.

  15. They wait for you even if they are tired for you to kiss them good night.

  16. They tell you that they understand you when they see you that you can’t take it anymore.

  17. They look for opportunities to help you, and although their little bodies only allow them to do very little, their help is more valuable to you than the help you could get from the most specialized people in the world.

  18. They are your last thought before falling asleep and the first when you wake up.

  19. They are constantly in your prayers, and without exception, when it comes to your little ones, you have no doubt that miracles exist.

  20. You tell them that everything will be fine.

  21. You teach them the importance of faith.

  22. You love them more than anything in this world.

  23. You know with every part of your body and soul that they love you.

Being a good mother to your children has nothing to do with what you buy for them, what you give them, or the vacations and parks you take them to. Being a good mother is knowing that you are giving them the best of you, and that the happiness of your little angels is the most important thing in your life.
